On Wednesday 5th March 2014 the Scout troop night was run by visitors from Royston’s Exodus Explorer Scout unit. The Explorers came equipped with tin cans and tee lights and showed the Scouts how to make mini tin can cookers. Once the cans were cleaned and had slots cut in the sides the Scouts made up some pancake mix which they poured onto the upturned cans. After a few minutes the pancakes were ready and the Scouts had the opportunity to taste their work. Much fun was had and we send a big “Thank You” to Exodus Explorer for a great evening. We hope that this will lead to a better link between our Scouts and Exodus Explorer unit so as to help with the transfer between the two groups when the Scouts have to leave us and continue their Scouting life.
