Here you will find the pictures of us setting up the camp and introducing the Cubs and Scouts to the weekends activities. Games we played after setting up camp that night. The Cubs and Scouts cooking and of Flag Break. Rifle shooting and pioneering . Building a rope bridge they had to get across. Camp fire.
The cubs and scouts joined together to have a summer party on the 7th July, there were a host of games both inside and outside, here are the pictures.
On June 23rd the Cubs and Scouts went rifle shooting and created a fire to cook dough twists. Here are the Scouts pictures.

On Wednesday 16th March 2010 as part of the Community Challenge Badge the Scout cut out and built their own paper city. As you can see from the photos this involved them making not only buildings but also cars, vans, trains and a few people. The Scouts were then left to decide where they would place the buildings and vehicles which lead to some interesting layout format, as I am sure you can imagine, before they decided on the final one which you see in the photos. After the meeting some the Scout’s choose to take home the pieces they had made.
In 2009 the scouts and senior cubs went to Abington for their annual summer camp, on this most recent camp they built a giant lift along with many other things. Here are the pictures.
The scouts went to visit the Cottenham fire station, here are the pictures.
Scouts do pioneering in man ways, we make trebuches, catapults, even lifts using anything from sticks and string to logs and ropes. On this night it was bamboo and elastic bands.
